Antonio Brown does not appear to have a good character. He allegedly does not pay his bills. He has several people accusing him of sexual misconduct. There is controversy wherever he goes. Is he a good example for kids? No, he is not, in my humble opinion.
My granddaughter and I had an interesting discussion yesterday when I picked her up from school. It started as a conversation about dress codes and we ended up talking about what class is.
My great Aunt Anna used the word a lot. She would always tell me “You’ve got to have class.” I took that to mean these things:
MANNERS
CLEAN CLOTHES
CLEAN HANDS & FACE
TREAT WOMEN WITH RESPECT
TREAT MEN WITH RESPECT
TREAT CHILDREN WITH RESPECT
BE KIND
Our discussion continued to include ideas such as:
You don’t have to have money to have class. You can be poor and have a rich character, complete with class. Be decent. Look decent. Hold your head up and be proud of who you are.
Scott Frost has class. Antonio Brown does not. Who would you want to have your child or grandchild emulate? Share your answer with me in the comments. And thank you for reading.
