Busy, long day! Mom had a Doc appointment and we went to Mangelsen’s so she could look at Jim Shore Santa Christmas Ornaments. After duplicating a couple over the years, she now has a list with names and numbers to see which ones she has. We found five she didn’t have, so now she does. Inventory is growing and she is happy, that’s all that matters.
I’m looking for a new Christmas tree. My current one I’ve had since 1988, when my dad died. It is in excellent shape, but is not pre-lit, and is put together branch by individual branch. I usually put 1000 lights on, and it takes a lot of time. I’m not getting rid of it yet, but it may be more enjoyable if it’s easier.
We attended a program at our grandson Gavin’s school. They narrated and had musical numbers for The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It was cute. He was excited, and so happy to be there. Good little guy.
No writing today, but I hope to do a lot tomorrow. I feel kind of sad for kids who just don’t like reading. They are missing out on a lot of inexpensive pleasure and imagination. I know many kids don’t like to read. Most of our grandkids don’t, and it really cuts down on the possibilities of gift giving.

I am working hard towards becoming a published author, and I think it would be thrilling to have someone purchase my books to give as gifts. I imagine someone opening my book to read and enjoying the journey. It is exciting to think about.
In the research I’ve done, I know I need to publish E-Books as well as Kindle, paperbacks are less expensive and farther reaching than hardcovers. There is so much in the steps that follow the writing. I hope you will continue to follow the journey with me.
Thank you reading along today. I encourage you to like and comment on my posts daily. That will give you two chances in my NaNoWriMo Drawing on December 1, 2019, at Noon. See you tomorrow!
