And you’re looking at one of them! Announcing . . . Professional E-Mail! It’s time, boys and girls. The folks at WordPress made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Add E-mail for three months, and it’s free. After that, $3.50 per month per account. How cool! So, if you want to communicate with me, you may now do it at:
“kathy@kathyraabe.com”
We’re all set. I’m excited beyond words. If you’d like to join my e-mail list, please leave your e-mail in the comments, I’d love to be able to offer you special stuff, once I figure things out. Learning curve, folks. I’m diving in off the high board at the Olympics, and I can’t swim. But I’ll learn. Quickly!
With equal excitement, here is my other e-mail address:
grandmakathy@kathyraabe.com
The other thing I did was this:
After all that hard work, I have nothing more to say today. I took Mom out for the first time since she fell and got all bruised up. She happily used her walker, my cousin was so happy to help her up the stairs/into the car, and it was her maiden voyage with her new walker in tow. I think she was pretty pleased with herself, and my cousins were all so wonderful to her. She is the last elder on her side of the family, so it’s a big deal. She tolerated it pretty well. I learned I need to allow more time to get her loaded and unloaded from now on. All is well, though.
The VFW Post 2503 had a breakfast/car show today with the funds raised going to the Corporal Daegan Page’s family fund. Omaha, Nebraska is the most wonderful city in the entire world. We raised over $5,000. Breakfast, raffles, car show donations. I am so proud of the people in my hometown; along with the Veterans I know, and those I haven’t met yet. We are a family. And I’m so proud of my husband for not only being the Quartermaster, but he is now also the Honor Guard Captain. He is dedicated to honoring the Veterans in this area. I support him ten thousand percent!
It is now very late Sunday evening. I’m overwhelmed with all the parts of life I’ve experienced today. And I appreciate all of you for reading today, for being here and I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow. Bless all of you.
